Google chrome wont connect pls help

I have been using Google chrome without a problem for over a year now. All of a sudden this morning it doesn't work. I can open it up but cannot connect to any websites. It's not my internet connection as IE and Firefox work just fine. I uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled twice today and it still doesn't connect. I checked my firewall settings and its not being blocked. It was working fine as of last night.

MY OS is WinXP.

Can anyone help me?
