:)
Happy Thursday!!
My first HELP ME post :)

I have been trying to get this issue(s) resolved for what feels like forever. A friends son replaced my HD, however I still receive the BSOD (took pics of a couple different ones I have received).

Currently the one that seems to rear it's ugly head the most is

BSOD

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

one thing I recall from the lower part of the message is tcpip.sys

I do not want to just blab and give you info that is useless, so if someone can tell me what would be helpful I will be all over it. :)

Thanks a bunch!

What OS are you running?

Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
Do the following:
Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools
Look for Command Prompt and right click it and click on 'Run as Admin'
Click on Yes/Continue
A black window will pop up and type in the following: sfc /scannow

Let me know the results.

Ran the scan and here is what it said...

"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. Details are included in the CBS.log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

example
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

I did try to retrieve the info but it denied me access.

Thanks for the info Broni.

I am now able to access the file, not sure what I need to look for. There is a LOT of 'info' :)

Even for a laptop those temperatures are little bit too high.
How old is this laptop?
I suggest, you get a can of compressed air and clean well all vents.
Try to elevate laptop as well.

Laptop is only 2 years old. Believe it or not I have it elevated. I bought one of those fan pads. And actually just unplugged it a couple of hours ago.
I actually have a can of compressed air so I will give that a go. Anything special to keep in mind before and or when using it on the laptop?

I really appreciate ALL of your assistance!! :)

Not really. Compressed air won't hurt it.

Of course I spoke too soon. BSOD came back.

Is it possible for a browser or the browser add-ons to play a role in some way?
