On the BSOD it usually shows lots of information. Below i am including a BSOD with the information.
What I need is the stop code and the driver or application it states is the problem.

Yep thats me. I just don't answer as quickly as i could now.
My new system is only 2 weeks old and i think it's already dated.

Ok... The recovery cd gets up to when it says windows is loading, then it jumps to the error screen which says....

Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF748E0BF, 0xF78DA208, 0xF78D9F08)

*** pci.sys - Address F748E0BF base at F7487000, DateStamp 3b7d855c

Yea, that's before the recovery cd trys to load and everything, this error comes after the cd loads and does a few things... The only thing I can do from off the cd is press f6 at the begining for the scsi screen or something... But if I don't press f6 it loads a bucha stuff until it says windows is going to run, then it goes to that blue error screen...

Do they have a windows vista recovery disk?

Do u think I have to update my bios? I dunno how to
do that tho...

I dunno I just want this thing back on!!!!

Now I dunno if u can help me with this but my vistas keeps saying I need to activate and I bought this laptop off of someone so i don't know if it's a genuine copy! Any suggestions?

Is there a sticker on the bottom of the laptop?
It should tell you the exact OS that was originally installed on the laptop and the COA number also.
