Unplug the PC, router, and modem from power. Wait 30 sec. Plug the modem back in. Wait until all status LEDs are as they should be, then plug in the router. Wait until these LEDs are as they should be then plug the PC in and power it up.
Win key + R>type cmd>type ping -n 20 www.google.com You should receive 20 replies. If you do not, reinstall the network card driver.
http://windows.micro...-Device-ManagerRight click the NIC in question then choose Uninstall. When it disappears, right click any other device and choose Scan for Hardware changes. Very rarely will you need a driver disk with Windows 7.
Now try pinging www.google.com once more. If you can. try surfing. If you can't, reboot to Safe Mode With Networking by repeated pressing the F8 key as the PC reboots. If you still can't surf, post back to this thread.
