I have a inspiron 1545 about a year old. For some reason lately the keyboard is just a pain to type on. The keys will jump me to the wrong place or it just will take a 3 lb weight to make the key respond. After I shut it down and reboot it is fine. Doesn't always happen. It is lik it gets overloaded.

Anyone else ever had this issue.

Thanks

If you can try the system with another keyboard, we could narrow down whether the computer or the keyboard has the issue. I had a keyboard that behaved similarly after one of my kids spilled a Coke on it. Once I replaced it the problem was solved.

Thanks for the reply. No kids to spill on it and I didnt spill either. I have had a wireless keyboard from time to time and it does it with that too. Odd thing is that it doesn't do it all the time. I never know when it will go off and just be a bear to type on. If I reboot it when it happens it goes away.

Just strange

Thanks
