avira not updating manually i have downloaded update kit and do reinstall of avira personal so many times pls tell other thing to ratify this problem
i dont have internet connection but i have update kit that kit was working in friend's computer so what wrong in my computer

its getting 1.checking new files 2. stopping service 3. updating files 4. starting service 5.stopping service
then its coming "update of the update kit was failed" pls help

normal update its get : 1.checking new files 2. stopping service 3. updating files 4. starting service
but when update failed its gets: 1.checking new files 2. stopping service 3. updating files 4. starting service 5.stopping service

I am using avira from last three years. But the difference is that I having Internet connection so I am updating it daily. But its really working fine. I like its all of the features. You should also update it. But I think you are not able to do it. According to me you should uninstalled and installed the best updated software. I assume that it will be the best for you.

Are you following the instructions from Avira?
Are you using the proper file? For version 9 and above that is VDF (multiple VDF).
