i was wondering once i get a new update can i delete the old one? i was wanting to keep my computer from getting all this stuff and slowing it down but i want to delete someting that my computer needs.

You don't want to uninstall those updates via 'Programs and Features', unless a specific update is giving your PC fits.

The updates you see will not generally slow your PC down. The updates in the screen shot are security related and really should remain installed.
