I just bought a new computer with Windows 7 and I am trying to add a line to my hosts file in Windows/System32/drivers/etc but when I go to save the file, I get the message

You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator to obtain permission. Would you like to save in the My Documents folder instead?

I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR who should I contact? :) How do I log on as the administrator or whatever?

Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories. Right-click on Notepad and choose "Run as Administrator". Say yes to the User Account Control prompt.
Now you can open the Hosts file with Notepad and save back to it too.
