Display keeps refreshing at random intervals!

I have a Dell computer with WIndows 7 Ultimate and I recently connected it to my 42 inch LCD Phillips HDTV by DVI to HDMI cable. The set up worked fine, I made it the main display, raised the resolution all the way and put the screen refresh at 60Hz.
Everything worked fine until it started to refresh (the screen goes black, my TV shows HDMI 1 and after 4 seconds it comes back). This happens at random times and OFTEN... I've looked for patterns and found none.

Please help, this is getting annoying!
