Sorry for the noob question.
(Windows Vista home premium)
How can I set the folder options to always open show and 'list' as default, and all folders to be "all items" and always include sort by date modified and date created, as well as folder size and position?

This is extremely annoying after a while. Have tried over and again to make this work the way I want it to.

Example: Seems like if I add a vid file somewhere, (a folder I already 'customized' as "all items", for instance,) it automatically turns the folder into "pictures and videos" or whatever and borks everything. Have to re 'customize' to make it 'all items' again. It sucks.

Vista does this crap on both machines I have. (32 & 64 bit)
XP never did that.

Any help please?
