Hello everyone I am brand new to this site, I have done all I know to do and my computer is getting worse not better. So heres the story.

One week ago I was playing World of Warcraft with a friend. We were in the same room he on his acct and I on mine. I was on a toon and it locked up, my friend turned around and said how do you have two toons on at the same time. I said I don't, I restarted wow and when I went to sign back in my password had been changed and a authintacator had been added. I then got the joy of watching all my toons run around selling everything I owned in game. Talk about a feeling that made me want to throw up.

Long story short blizz was able to have me back up and restored in a few days. I followed their suggestions and found the trogan.win32/gen virus and I thought it was gotten rid of. But theres no way, my laptop keeps locking up on standard internet pages. ctrl alt delete does not work, the only way I can get out is the power button press and hold deal. My start up times are getting slower, lock ups more frequent.....oh and I also am getting more critical errors that boot me out of WOW too....not cool when you are a healer in a raid ya know lol.

I have some knowledge of computers but nothing major so you may have to start at second grade with me.

I thank you guys in advnace.

Thanks,

Tar

04-10-2010 midnight....I just went thru all of the malware and spyware cleaning guide. I did each step. I have the ark.txt, otl.txt and extras.txt available. I tried to post on here but it said the post was too long. thanks again oh and the malwarebytes came back negative, as well as the virus scan on mchaffee, avg and the newly installed avast...I got rid of the two prior virus scanners. My concern remains slow computer, web page lock ups, long boot time, and world of warcraft critical errors
