I tried to copy a file to a zip file. As it was coping, my sister removed the flash drive where the zip file was located. Now whenever i want to access the file it gives me a pop up that says: Please insert the last disk of the multi-volume set. I desperately need the files on this corrupted zip file.

I also tried to copy this zip to my com. When i try to access it it tells me the file is either corrupted or invalid.

Any help will be appreciated.

You'll have to remake the ZIP file. Assuming you still have the original file, it's be far quicker than fiddling around with the now corrupt one.

no the zip was sent to me from a colleague i don't currently have access to, hes on vacation. Is there a way to At least see the names of the things inside. then i could request those separate files from his work.

Im building a site for his work place and those files were some photos that he picked out. He dosent come back for a week. If i could at least see the names of the pictures, then i could sipmply ask his boss for copies.

I managed to open it. I switch it over to an xp system and used winzip to extract the files. It worked. Thanks anyways.
