Good Morning Everyone..
Well, I got a really nice little slideshow program - the problem is that it takes forever to load the results in my webpage. So, I got a couple of image resizers and brought those images way down in size. The file was still huge and then it dawned on me! It's the music file that's making it so big. How and with what can I resize the music file?
Thanks! This site has helped me so many times - can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

You can either convert it to a different audio format that uses a higher compression, or reduce the quality (the bit-rate, expressed as kbps) to a level you consider is still acceptable. Either method will reduce the file size.

Most audio converter also allow you to choose the bit-rate, so you don't need two different applications to do both jobs. I found a few free audio converters below (no good going for trial versions of commercial software because they only allow you to convert very small files until you pay):

Please note, I am not endorsing any of the above products since I've never personally used them.

Thank you phillipcorcoran for replying so quickly. Can you give me samples of numbers to use? The song I am trying to resize is "We Are the Champions" by Queen. A great song so I don't want to totally mangle it, but, would really like to be able to use it.
