When I go to my documents and try to open a PDF. Rather than the document opening into Adobe Reader Windows Media Center opens and I am unable to open the document. The only way I can open the document is if I Open Adobe first and then go into my documents from adobe. Also If I receive an e-mail with a PDF Windows Media Center opens rather than Adobe reader. I have to save the PDF to my documents then open adobe and go to the saved document from adobe. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks so much for your help.

It looks like .pdf file association got messed up.
Right click on any .pdf file, click "Open with", then "Choose default program".
Select Adobe Reader form the list and make sure there is a checkmark in "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file".
