Computer crashing

It takes about 30 seconds to crash and then restarts. My computer is malware free and was sent here by mpascal on this thread: http://www.geekstogo...31#entry1817731

I have windows 7 (obviously :)) and am using a laptop.

Does it actually load windows, or does it show you manufacturer, then the windows 7 spinny dots, then restarts itself and repeats?

try booting into safe mode with networking...
Restart your computer.
When the computer starts you will see your computer's hardware being listed. When you see this information start to gently tap the F8 key on your keyboard repeatedly until you are presented with the Windows 7 Advanced Boot Options screen ...use the arrow key to highlite safe mode with networking then press enter
