Hi, I disabled RPCSS in the registry and now my laptop won't even let me log in to correct it and I'm on windows 7.

Is there a cmd command to turn it back on because the only thing I can access is pressing f12 after turning on the laptop.

Please help :\

Hi,
Try turning on your computer in safe mode;
1). Turn on your computer keep on pressing F8.
2). Select "Safe Mode"
3). Now try to change the registry value to enable RPCSS.

This should work. Please reply after following above mentioned steps.

From http://wiki.blackvip...dure_Call_(RPC)

This service is rather vital. Practically everything depends on this service to be running. This is also one of the few services that you cannot disable via the Services MMC, nor can you change the state with a registry patch.

How exactly did you change it in the registry? And what exactly did you change. Your probably best off doing a System Restore.
