computer wont download anything

I have a wireless connection thru a cable provider and a router. Was working fine till i moved and tech hooked up internet in new location. all of a sudden computer starts taking forever to load pages and refuses to download anything. have norton internet security 2010 and no viruses on computer

What web browser are you using? And when you say 'refuses to download', can you be more specific?

This was the same post as before and doesn't tell us anything new.
  • What program are you using to browse the internet (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc...)?
  • What happens when you try to download a file?

using internet explorer. I initiate download but it will run forever with nor progress or tell me it has timed out

Try Firefox. Download it from another PC and install it on your PC.
