Hi, another trivial problem, I'm afraid.

Language bar (in 7 ultimate) worked perfectly well till recently, but now refuses to change language (I use 4 regularly, English, French, Danish and German, though alas only one keyboard which sometimes makes me stop and think).

If I click on the displayed language it shows the alternatives: I click a different one; the language in the toolbar changes (e.g.from FR to EN) and I then take the mouse back to my document. Before I even get there, the displayed language in the toolbar has gone back to FR.

OK, so I click Settings and change the default input language to EN, click apply and try again to change the language in the toolbar. Same thing - it changes when I click, but reverts when I move the mouse away.

I go back to Settings - that still shows default input language as EN, I try clicking under English - keyboard - United Kingdom and then OK, go back to the toolbar; click to change the language from FR to EN, language changes to EN, I move the mouse away and before I can type anything the toolbar display has gone back to FR.

Then sometimes though not always, while I am slogging away using the French keyboard to write English, the toolbar code randomly changes itself to English - with no intervention from me.

This of course also happens the other way round, the toolbar code gets stuck on English (which is a real pain as I have to find some way of putting in the accents). Same thing for the other languages (and it doesn't help to try cycling through them).

I guess that what I have to do is uninstall it and redownload it - is there a simple way to do this, please ? Or even a complicated way ?

Thanks for your help.
