This has been happening a long time and now it is really starting to annoy me. I play Runescape and i am having problems running the game in HD mode. The game runs perfectly well for about 5 min then i click something or the screen loads then everything on my computer stops responding. But the mouse still moves. I press ctrl+alt+del but nothing happens. I dont know what to do. Any halp? thanks! :)

Please tell me your system specification, and which major softwares are currently install in your system?

about the troubleshooting
do this as a primary troubleshoot...

troubleshooting A: Increase virtual memory
1: Go to the System properties
2: go under advance tab
3: click "settings" in the 'performance', which opens new window named 'performance options'
4: under 'advanced' tab, click change
5: set it maximum upto 4GB (4000mb)

troubleshooting B:Disable thumbnails
1: folder option
2: go to the view tab
3: check "always show icons, never thumbnails"

trust me, this thing consumes a lot of RAM memory and freezes the system.

see if that work,
otherwise, I tell you next troubleshooting steps when you send me your system specification..

It turns out that the problem was dust. I opened up my computer and found a layer of dust acting as a barrier between my fan and my heat-sink that was over the processor. After i removed the dust everything ran back how it was originally. Thanks for something :/

Hi,

This seems to be the problem with your low graphics memory. So please before running that game check the minimum requirements of the game and system configuration. Becuase games usually need more graphics memroy, which make computer slow. It would be good if you provide the minimum system requirements of game and your system configuration to figure out the problem. However you can check it on your own.

Please reply.
