Roxio Creator 2010 Crash and freezing after download installation.

I have recently downloaded Roxio creator 2010 from Roxio's website. The program keeps on crashing when i ask it to convert avi files to dvd. Roxio's advice was a 'clean install', so I carried out their instructions which involved deletion of all files using windows install clean up utility and editing the registry. This was going well until i tried to delete one folder containing the content files. Every time i attempt to delete it a message comes up saying i need permission to perform this operation. I am the owner of the file and the administrator. I obviously need to remove it fully before attempting to install again. Any advice would be greatly received.

Hi matt3337 and welcome to geekstogo.

Try downloading Unlocker. This does very well removing locked folder/files. Just install and right click the file and select unlocker. If needed unlock all handles.

Please do not install the ebay shortcut. It is a trojan and cannot be removed after, in any normal way.
