No matter how many google searches I do I cannot come to a conclusion for this problem.
I am trying to use Windows Update to download the Security Update for the 2007 Microsoft Office System (KB976321) update but it keeps failing, even if I visit the site and try to download it manually.

Here is more information:

Installation date: ‎5/‎18/‎2010 6:42 [bleep]!

Installation status: Failed

Error details: Code 646

Update type: Important

A security vulnerability exists in the 2007 Microsoft Office System that could allow arbitrary code to run when a maliciously modified file is opened. This update resolves that vulnerability.

Save to your desktop, close all Office programs, and then run the patch.

(This method will usually get the troublesome patch installed and then Windows Update will work as expected).
