Hi, I've had the google redirect virus for a little while now and it's getting to the point of driving me crazy!
I can not find any solutions to this problem. I did see on a google forum something called "Hitman Pro" which also detected and deleted several rootkits I appeared to have, and I assumed this had fixed the problem.
However there was a trojan which is in my driver files and I have no idea how to get rid of it.
Im just assuming this is part of the problem?

Help would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go! :)

I suggest taking a look at the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide. This will help you disinfect the majority of malicious software from your system. If that doesn't solve your problem, post a new thread in the Virus, Spyware and Trojan Removal Forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to this thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
