Two ongoing problems after malware removal.

Hello, I have posted before about this but have still not had much success in receiving help!

Firstly, I have a patched C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\tdx.sys file, after this removal everything was fine apart from the sound on my computer is not working whatsoever.

This includes audio files, video files and all browser sounds.

Secondly, I cannot change my desktop background no matter what I do.

Can anybody help?
