Hey Guys,

I used your site once before when I downloaded the Google Redirect Virus, but now I am hoping that you can save me once again!!

There are two problems that exist. One on my computer and the other on my Moms. I think they both may stem from the same issue.

For my Mom's computer: She can connect to her Linksys router ok, but she is unable to then connect to the internet.

For my computer: I can not even connect to the router.

I found it interesting that I was using my Mom's computer before this problem occurred. I had just downloaded BitTorrent and was in the process of downloading a movie. I ended the download only 3% into it because it was taking too long.

I am now seeing a new network available when I open the "Available Networks" list. It's called "What the... Virus" I don't know if that means anything but I don't think it was there before.

Anyway, please let me know what you need from me and I will try to fix the problem for her. Remember, she is using Windows 7!!

Thanks,

Brandon

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
