i am running windows xp media center sp2 and got a 9600 radeon video card
i just installed the latest driver for it after i got the error the first time today,but i got it again a few minutes ago and had to restart the pc

it says that the driver is stuck in an infinite loop and i should get the latest driver for my video card which i just did.
if the problem persists contact the vendor or whatever.

not sure what more info i can give you for now.. awaiting a reply and will post whatever is needed.

oh and it says that that theres a problem with that file "ati2evxx.exe"

Definitely does not sound like Malware. I would suggest you post this over in the Windows forum.

One quick thing you can try if you haven't already got this sorted is to boot into Safe Mode and roll back the driver you installed to the previous version.
