wlan not recognised since upgrade to win 7

upgraded my win xp to win 7 on my sony vaio vgn-s4xp/b, the srenn no longer fills the 13inch wide scren so i assume update on the display will be needed and the wlan does not connect or show as an option for wiles, i need to aquire the high definaition audio drive for my audio out put and wlan driver for the lapton, at present linking vis cable to my router.
