I use Outlook Express for my email. I'd like to use a signature on all of my outgoing messages but I want to use different fonts than I use in the body of my mail. I tried going to options under tools and edit signature and accessed a word file I saved as plain text to use. It always sends the signature in the same font I use for emails instead of the custom signature. I know it can be done, I just don't know how to do it. Help!

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go! I use Outlook Express as well, but don't have custom signature set up. I use Outlook at work, and it does exactly what you want. I took a look at the outlook tool, options menu where you set up your signature and it has two options, as text which is probably what you are using so it is the same font you chose. The other is as a file. This option gets a file you created and puts it in as a signature. According to the "help" menu, this can be a text file or html file. The drop down on this option says .txt or .html or all files *.* so it may be possible to create a signature as a file and outlook express inserts it. Give that a try. It is sooooo much easier in Outlook.
