i cant shut down the intranet

Every time i go onto the intranet i have to use the task manager to shut the window down. How can i fix this? suggestions anyone? I can't even rerun my computer because it did not come with a re run disk. I have tried to do the system restore thing and that did not help.

Intranet? Internal network most commonly seen in a company environment?

Or do you mean, the Internet as in what you're looking at now?
