I have had a few bad runs with win7 64. Most of the problems went away after a full reformat and a clean install of the win7 64 bit. Suddently, in the last few weeks, I have been getting the BSOD while browing or running other applications. The dump analysis suggested issues with NTOSKRNL.EXE most of the time. Yesterday's bsod shows problems with discache.sys and by address discache.sys+183a48

Could you please help?

Thanks
SSri

Download BlueScreenView (in Zip file)
No installation required.
Unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Since, all was fine for some time after fresh install.....

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
