I HAVE A EMACHING COMPUTER WITH WINDOWS ME ON IT I WANTED TO UPDATE USING MY WINDOWS XP DIXCK BUT CAN NOT FIND MY KEY I TRIED TO BYPASS USING THE KEY AND RECIEVES LINE 18979 OF THE INF FILE \I386\TXTSETUP.SIF IS INVALID I AM UNABLE TO USE MY COPUTER PROPERLY BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM IM UNABLE TO UPDATE BROWSWER OR DOWNLOAD PROPER FLASH PLAYER TO MOVE CPU I NEED HELP IF POSSIBLE THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

You will not be able to install windows xp without the key. The key is what shows you have paid for the software and what licence you paid for. The discs are in fact worthless without the key. Bearing in mind that unless you have a licence for multiple computers you cannot install windows xp on more than one computer so I'm slightly worried when you say "using my xp disc". If you have got a copy of xp and your licence supports you installing it on that computer then you will have to contact Microsoft to explain the problem and they may give you another key, but its for them to decide.
