I have run a scan with Kapersky Internet Security and SUPERAnitSpyware and I have no infections.
I have cleared dns and Winsock to no avail. I have cleaned temp files; all to know avail.
Something I have noticed is when I click on a link on a page the browser runs backwards for about 2 to 3 seconds before it opens the page I usually get cannot display page.
This just started tonight. I would do a restore but I have been unable to. I keep getting cannot be restored to...
I was suppose to take the laptop back to the computer shop to have it look at because of the issue but I have no had time to due to mom.
She is 92 and has extreme dementia due to TIA's.
Any help that you could give me will be appreciated.

Not a lot of detail, but your problem could be as simple as no connection to the internet or simply re-installing your network adapters... Give that a try and get back to us...
