I have a little different situation I need help with, I had Win 2000 on my hard drive and then loaded XP Pro on the same part of the partition but am now receiving 'pick a OS to load' every time I boot, how do I remove the Win 2000?

Change your 'view' options to show hidden files and system files. In root of boot drive © you'll see a file called BOOT.INI
Copy it to another location as a backup just in case you need to restore it.
Open the original BOOT.INI in notepad and remove the lines that refer to Windows 2000 under [operating systems], leaving reference only to Windows XP. Save the file. Close notepad . Re-boot.
If all is ok you can delete the copy you made earlier.
