Vista laptop problem

Hey can you please help me with the problem
I'm having? Will my problem is that when I turn
On my laptop it shows this screen saying configuring
Updates: stage 3 of 3 -0% complete
Do not turn off your computer.
So then I'm there waiting for it to complete
But it doesn't do nothing it still says 0% then later
It turns of by itself and turns back on saying the samething
It just keeps doing it over and over what can
I do please help me!!!): oh and it's a vista laptop.

Try and boot into safe mode and do a system restore to a date prior to this problem.Here is a link for instructions on getting into safe mode. http://windows.micro...er-in-safe-mode Also a link to explain how to do a system restore http://windows.micro...-System-Restore Hope this information is usefull to you.
