Browser redirect virus

Hello, yesterday I noticed that both my computer and laptop were infected with a virus that redirects me to other websites, or do not let me connect to a website. They are both windows vista and got infected around the same time, I'm not sure how. I've tried many anti-virus scans but none can get rid of the problem. I don't know much about computers although I have gotten rid of annoying viruses before. Can somebody please help me with this problem? Thanks in advance!
