My brother's PC has crashed hard. The boot screens are scrambled, with random characters filling the screen, graphics from the Dell and Windows gui logos also are deformed. After the Windows boot screen the computer stays black, and crashes. I can safe boot, networking included, but Mbam has dug up nothing. Reinstalled video drivers, no change. Nothing obvious in windows error logs, although there is this file which I'm not sure about. (C:\Users\SPARTI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX1\redist.dll )
Anyways, I was dearly hoping some fine fellow/fellowette could possible look over my hjt log and notice anything fishy. There are however three desktop links from a toggle.com which are clearly malware, so I hope that's connected. Here is the hjt log:
