i just cant access the windows update site and i followed the directions it gave me but still cant get to it. also when i right click on my computer and click properties the screen takes awhile to load and programs take awhile to load.

nwiz.exe is associated with newer versions of nvidia video cards. However it is not neccessary and can take up RAM.

Check your CPU usage. Right click on the start tool bar and get to taks manager. then under processes look under CPU row. Are there any processes running at a high number. Note: System Idle Processes should be high.

no everything is basically zero but things arent running that slow just mad that i cant access windows update at all and stumped on what to do.

I already followed thos directions tho and still no go.

Ok let's try this;

Go to start->run then type the following entries in and hit OK after typing each one.

regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 mssip32.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll

After you hit OK after each one, you should see DllRegisterServer succeeded.

I notice that you have Download Accelerator Plus. Please disable it because it may be interferring with the connection to windows update

ok did that but still wont work i used to be able to update even with download accelerator it just i think today stopped working. I downloaded spyware blaster and firefox today if that helps at all.
