HOME BROKE INTO

HI guys!!! long story short my home was broke into 3 imes in the last month,, The second time Iset up security cameras.. The file that was created on the camera is callled a vvf file.. I can view it but am unable to copy it to a mpeg so I can clear up the video,, any help would be great,,,
