Hi, I have been trying for days to set up a home wireless network on my Wireless-N router. But to no avail I cannot set it up, I do not have the originally set up CD and all guides I have tried finding through google are no help. I was wondering if someone could please help me set up the router. I may be able to set up a donation through paypal for someones services.

Thank you in advance

Let's take this one step at a time. You'll want to plug your PC directly to the router for initial setup. Run the CAT 5e cable from the network card of the PC into one of the ports on the router. Take care not to use the port that says Internet. Use one of the ports labeled 1 thru 4. Now power on the router.

Once connected, which will take around 30 or 60 seconds for the router to boot and connect to the PC, open a web browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer. Delete everything in the address bar and type the following and press enter

192.168.1.1

You should now be presented with a login screen for the router. Leave the Username blank and type Admin as the password and hit enter. You should now be looking at the configuration pages for the router. Please report back that you were able to get this far.

Additionally, can you provide me with the Model number of the router along with the Modem brand and model number you received from your ISP?

Instead of me typing all this out and going around in circles, can you tell me exactly where you are getting stuck?

So once set up, you are able to see the wireless network with your computer, but not connect? If so, please disable the WPA security and try connecting again.
