Heads up - i am totally computer illiterate when it comes to fixing issues but i can follow directions well.

One day I turned on my computer, went to use itunes and it said that i didn't have the program (not exact wording).

I looked for the program in my computer and as far as i could see itunes was there.

After a couple of days of hoping the pixies would fix the issue - aka doing nothing, I decided to hunt down why this was occuring.

In the end I decided to uninstall intunes and start all over again. After removing the program from the control panel I downloaded the program again.

During the install it would drop out and come up with a messages saying the install was interupted and to try the install again at a later date.

This happened quite a few times.

So again, I researched why this would be occuring. I found that Bonjour being still installed on my system was causing the error. So I tried to uninstall it from the control panel-add/remove programs area.

I could not remove the program as it kept telling me that it couldn't find the file and asked for me to put in a new pathway.

Having (again) no idea what was going on, I do some more research.

A fix that was successful for other people on the forums was running revo uninstall and removing all the keys/registrys (i think this is the correct terms) for bonjour then reinstalling itunes.

I did this, reinstalled intunes and it acutally installed!! Hallujah!! The computer wanted me to reboot but i kept on it for a while to do some more surfing. Maybe half a hour later I turned the computer off and went to bed.

The next morning I turned on the computer and itunes was on my desktop and working fine but my wireless internet connection was stuck acquiring a network address.

I tried to repair the connection - didn't work

I rebooted the computer - didn't work

I checked my internet connection on the laptop - working absolutly fine

I have re-entered my password for my connection - didn't work

I reset my connection - didn't work

So i did some more research and found that I needed to check if my DHCP client has started. When I checked it it had stopped. So I started it but then an error message came up - Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly. And it is still stopped.

I tried a few entries in command prompt - one to help reset my TCP/IP and one for winstock. After the winstock one, it took a while to reboot to the desk top but nothing internet wise has changed.

Now I have run out of ideas what to do.

I need help - please help me?

Thanks
