Go back into the BIOS/CMOS Setup, Reset to factory defaults, Save and Exit.
Now how far does it get with the bootup?

I tried that and it didn't work. I did take a pic of screen but not sure how to post. I'm desperate to have it fixed! Thank you for your help!

Three questions:
- Can you get into the BIOS/CMOS Setup?
- Does the BIOS recognize the hard drive? (Do you see the hard drive model number anywhere in the CMOS/BIOS Setup screens)?
- What is the model number of your Toshiba Satellite? (Probably on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop).
