Hey folks, sorry if this is in the wrong section but I wasn't sure where to put it.

So the issues my pc is currently getting include;

*When windows starts up, most programs pop up with a "____ has stopped working prompt" and the same goes for most other applications I try to open.
*The computer has slowed down by a large percentage
*Google chrome has lost most of my login info, as if it has reset

I thought Malwarebytes might find some issues and it did, but when I tried to delete them, it ran into a runtime error, the same goes for hijackthis, although the latters remains open after.

I'm pretty sure it's a malware related issue but this seems so sudden and widespread it's scary.

Let me know what information you guys need and I'll post it up.
Thanks

Have you tried malwarebytes in safe mode? I think it's F8 on boot to choose safe mode.

I suspect that you have some malware on your computer causing issues that we are not able to solve through means we can use here in the Tech Forums. I suggest you read the 'Start Here' topic found here. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. If you are still having problems after following Step 3 of the guide, continue with Step 4 and 5 and post in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run any programs, Please create a topic stating what you have tried so far and that you are unable to run any programs. Also, Please do NOT post the logs in this thread.

If you are still having issues after the malware expert gives you a clean bill of health, Please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
Add a link to this topic so that malware tech can see what steps have been taken here

Thank you, I'll get right on to that.

Also just to make a note of what has been attempted, malwarebytes gets a runtime error 5 in safe mode.
