I switched on my computer tonight to have AVG telling me Quicktime had a Trojan Backdoor. Generic13. YXM then when I did a restart it told me it was in c:/program files (86)Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamcore.dll and keeps telling me its there and Malware won't open.
I scanned with AVG and Super Antispyware both found nothing.
I looked here and googled and am now wondering if its a genuine problem, is AVG faking it so to speak, is it a real threat, If I click on Move to Vault I get a warning that removing this could cause serious instability to my Computer so am not sure what to do now.
Any advice would be happily accepted.

Quicktime is a false positive:

If in doubt you can submit the file to http:/virustotal.com and see what the other anti-virus companies say about it.

I prefer the free Avast over AVG myself.

Hi RKinner and thanks, relieved to know it wasn't real.
