I am getting a warning that says the drivers for my PCI Simple Communication Controller are not installed (Code 28)

I have tried to update the driver but windows cannot find software for the device

It is an adaptec AFW-4300C and I can't find it on the adaptec site

Is this something that can be resolved or is this PCI card useless?

However, it doesn't look like they make a driver for it anymore


EDIT: Here, this kbase article should help you: http://ask.adaptec.c...li=&p_topview=1 I assume you're running XP, however, I checked on their web site, and the driver should also be on a vista CD as well
