So I been having for 2 years already my HP Touchsmart Tx2 laptop.

I got it as a graduation gift. It been acting real slow already, somethimes I have problem viewing youtube videos. The whole screen touch thing it was never really great even when I first got it I wonder why.

The spec are

Window Vista Home Premium
Service pack 1

window experience 3.3
AMD Turion™ X2 Dual Core Mobile RM-74 2.20GZ
4GB RAM
64 bit operating system

I would like to see if I can upgrade to window 7, I found out my ram is expandable up to 8GB I was planing in doing this if possible but i been told i would need to change my processor which is more money. Basically I want to wipe out everything of my laptop with new window and better ram.

I will be installing a DJ program later on thats why I would like to get my laptop ready for it help!!!!

Not really a lot of upgrade room on a laptop. You're not going to notice any difference between 4Gb and 8Gb which makes it a pointless upgrade.

With regards to Windows 7, your best bet would be to find out if it (your DJ program) works under Windows 7. If not, then again it's pointless doing.

An option may be to simply back up anything you want to keep and use the factory restore option to reset the machine back to how it came when you had it originally.
