don't get f11 system restore screen

hey i've got an emachine that some how i took away the screen where you press f11 to do a restore and now i need to do a restore and cant access it..the computer runs the boot up test and says f1 to continue or del for setup. what do i need to change to get the f11 screen option popping back up.. i changed the bios back to default but no luck...thanks for any help
