I have so much problem with my computer recently that I am at a loss as to what to do. It started when I tried to send mail with huge attachment through the email program Email Marketing Pro. The program simply hanged up, and the computer completely freeze. At the time, if I remembered correctly, I turned off the computer by simply unplug its power supply, because the keyboard simply would not allow me to do anything.

Since then the computer never worked correctly anymore. First of all the email program Email Marketing Pro would no longer be able to send out mail. Also its email editing function does not work any more. The rogers online protection would no longer be able to be launched.

I believe it is the activex control or window registry problem and so I try to clean up the window registry using all kinds of free window registry program like Eusing registry cleaner, but to no avail, and the problem remain unaltered. It comes to a point that I don’t trust any registry cleaning program any more . If registry cleaning program can solve my problem , I guess I would have no choice but to buy one. But I am afraid I simply would waste money buying into something that does not work. Or the problem would still be there even if I have registry all cleaned up.

Now I tried to recover the computer to the original factory state, and I am having problem.

My operating system is window vista. I go to help and support, I click on use recovery manager, and then click to learn more, and then computer check up, and then click to launch hardware diagnostic tool, the following message appears :

Can’t find script engine “Jscript.Encode” for script “c:\windows\help\OEM\scripts\launchPCDr.jse”.

The same happens when I try the other options but ,of course with some other messages such as

Can’t find script engine “Jscript.Encode” for script “c:\windows\help\OEM\scripts\recoverymanager.jse”.

If I Click to launch the Hardware Driver Reinstaller.

Any computer Geek out there can help me solve this problem???
