I am sure this is is a common problem, but my Asus laptop is stuck in an endless boot cycle. I do not have the windows recovery CD supplied to me by Asus to hand, so I was wondering what steps I could take to fix the problem. Would a different version of Windows Vista repair the problem or would I have to use the supplied recovery CD?

Nothing has been done that should have caused this to occur - no recent installations or anything, one minute the laptop worked as it should - and the next it was locked in this boot cycle.

Thank you for any assistance!
