Type in the model of your cd drive in the google search bar and then after type drivers and search through the pages, you should find it

Drivers you can usually find on the manufacturers website. So try and find the brand and model of your player. Though drivers won't help much if your machine cannot find the hardware. (drivers only tell the machine how to use the hardware)

Did you open your machine and rooted around in its innards?
Maybe you loosened a cable somewhere. Check all your connections and try to make XP find your hardware again.
Sometimes it's just that simple ;)

Success :tazz:

Usually when you plug something new in, it will automatically do it when it boots up or such, open your start menu, go to my computer, right click and hit properties, then go to hardware, and then click device manager- do you see any question marks or exclamation points there? Is there anything for your cd drive there?
