I have a challenge with Outlook. This is the third time that I've populated the contact file, had it work fine, then gone in one day to find addresses or whole contacts randomly gone. Sometimes when I type a contact in email it will retrieve automatically, sometiems I have to go in manually to contacts to get the email address. It almost seems like there is more than one data base.

I do synchronize outlook with my handheld. This latest episode of losing contacts was when I had to reformat the PC. I had not backed up properly, and so had to repopulate from the handheld, and although I'd been synchronizing back and forth right along, when I repopulated an empty Contacts from the handheld, many of my contacts were missing or truncated.

Any ideas out there?
