I don't think of memorial day as being a celebration but rather a rememberance of all the gallant men and women who took it as their fate to do something with their lives.It is not a time for argument over wether war is right or wrong or wether democracy is a better way of life than socialism,but as a day in wich to reflect upon those souls who are lost to those who remain living.The young men and women on bothsides of conflict that lose their lives all leave behind them a family that mourns their loss.It is with their willingness to go forth into battle that I am to pursue my happiness wherever and whatever that may be.I say thank-you to all those that have given so much of themselves so I can choose not to.And A prayer goes out to all their families.
